Job Title: Communication department Intern

Period: 6 months to 1 year
Job Definition: The Communications Intern has primary responsibility for basic resource development and public relations writing assignments under the direction of the Head of Communications. The Communications Intern will be assigned to a variety of assignments, including, but not limited to: general writing projects, proofreading and editing, tracking of the media exposure, responding to internal and external requests for information, etc.
Education & Skills:
•         Professional English writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills.

•         Majors in journalism, communications, English, public relations or related fields preferred

•         General computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

•         Ability to adhere to deadlines and handle last minute requests.

•         Ability to prioritize and organize multiple activities.

•         Ability to work independently and willingness to be a team player.
