Job Purpose
-To develop and serve a portfolio of corporate accounts within the assigned business segment/target market and to manage existing portfolios of loan assets assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
-Explore, solicit and realize merchant banking business to fulfill business targets assigned.
-Assess viability of business opportunity, conduct due diligence and feasibility study of the underlying project, perform comprehensive credit risk analysis, structure a bankable structure for the loan, prepare credit proposals and assist the supervisor in presenting the credit proposal to the top management for approval.
-After obtaining approval from top management, execute the transaction by preparing, negotiating and executing loan documentation in cooperation with the customer and related parties, the lawyer and the relevant internal departments. The incumbent should also look after all the preconditions for draw down with the aim to transfer the deal to loan administration department smoothly.
-Manage the credit and business issues of the portfolio assigned on an on-going basis.
-Maintain good account relationship with existing and potential customers.
-Cross-sell products and services of other business units
Requirements
-Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines.
-Minimum 3 years credit and marketing experience gained from international banking environment.
-Self-motivated and result oriented.
-Strong Analytical and interpersonal skills.
-Sound corporate banking and merchant banking knowledge. Formal credit analysis training will be an advantage.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
-Literate in commonly used computer application software.
