DBS Bank (China) Limited is a subsidiary of DBS Bank Ltd, which is in turn a s
ubsidiary of DBS Group Holdings Ltd, one of the largest financial services gro
ups in Asia. DBS opened its first representative office in Beijing in 1993. Si
nce incorporating locally in May 2007, DBS China has rapidly expanded its fran
chise. In four years, DBS China has grown its customer base in China by about
eight times, and doubled its staff strength to over 1,400. Over the same time,
the bank has also expanded its footprint, opening four branches in Tianjin, N
